Origin Story
Blaise Hope founded Origin Hope in 2019 after watching how the changes to workflow and training he implemented at his previous employer transformed regional content habits.
He is an expert on generative AI, content, human-tech workflows, and journalism. Hope’s work has drawn wide praise including from Factmata Founder Dhruv Ghulati (now at Uber), who called him “a master of generative AI and content.”
Hope’s journey as a futurist leader and luminary CEO began while at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism during post-financial crisis collapse of US news media.
Landing in Jakarta aged 22, he rapidly rose from freelancer to TV anchor and newsroom director at Lippo Group. He then headed content operations for Brilio (now KLY.id), while still only 26. Hope enacted radical change, creating efficiency gains that helped KLY become a regional monopoly: about 10% of the world’s population still consume Hope-KLY content every day.
Origin Hope’s mission is to change content creation permanently and remove the barriers between thought and expression. Origin Hope captures the brilliance of people and tech in a unique solution, proven across industries, languages, formats, and territories. It will become the dominant global content solution and is currently in confidential talks with a Big Tech firm to accelerate its global expansion.
